CULINARY WINE DINNERS!

Travel with Sansone's Bistro as we experience the culinary wonders and fabulous wines of countries all over the world. Chef Robert Sansone prepares multi-course meals paired with perfect wines or spirits from a different region.

We have tasted the scrumptious cuisine of Italy, and discovered the rich, fruity wines of the Piedmont region, and the crisp, bold whites of the South.

We have traveled to Spain to enjoy the spicy seasonings of their paella that went remarkably well with the smokey spicy flavors of Spanish Riojas.

We have even ventured into the mountainous regions of South America and experienced the hearty stews and equally as bold red wines.

Join us for a culinary adventure you will surely want to sign up for again and again.

(last day of DNC)

Presidential Dinner

Politics is in the air and  the upcoming election is on everyone’s mind. Here at Sansone's we believe the only politics that should be discussed at the dinner table is the politics of food. So we’ve gone into the white house food archives and picked out some of the most mouthwatering recipes prepared for, and by our past leaders.

Join us on the last day of the Democratic National Convention, Thursday August 28th, as we take a peak at some favorite culinary delights that have won the hearts and votes at the political table.

 MENU

Everyone may not agree with the current political decisions coming out of George W. Bush’s White House but Mrs. Bush’s
Chilled Avocado Soup with Serrano Flavored Crabmeat -
gets unanimous approval from both houses of congress as the perfect starter for our Unified America dinner.

Our next course comes straight from the white house archives and has been enjoyed by leaders from all over the world regardless of their political ideals.
Presidential Honey Walnut Salad
this is a warm salad of wilted butter lettuce with toasted walnuts in a maple honey vinaigrette garnished with sweet dark cherries.

For the entrée selections we call upon these great leaders:

“The Great Emancipator” , Abraham Lincoln, for his Scalloped Oysters

the “Author of Freedom”, Thomas Jefferson for his Chicken Fricassee

and the “Architect for a Great Society” Lyndon B. Johnson for his

Texas Style Barbeque Ribs.

Entrees will be accompanied by Mammie Eisenhower’s tomato pudding and  the famous hoecakes of George Washington’s step daughter.

For dessert Mrs. Abigail Adams’ Apple Pan Dowdy and

Jackie Kennedy's White House Hot Fruit Dessert –a baked casserole of oranges, lemons, apricots, pineapple, and cherries topped with sour cream.

So after all the speeches have been made, and a long week of politics is through, join us at Sansone’s Bistro for a relaxing dinner fit for any president!
