We have tasted the scrumptious cuisine of Italy, and discovered the rich, fruity wines of the Piedmont region, and the crisp, bold whites of the South.

We have traveled to Spain to enjoy the spicy seasonings of their paella that went remarkably well with the smokey spicy flavors of Spanish Riojas.

We have even ventured into the mountainous regions of South America and experienced the hearty stews and equally as bold red wines.

On Wednesday, March 24, 2010 Sansone’s Bistro takes a culinary journey to the Eastern Countries of Europe. Savor the old world flavors of Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Hungarian recipes. Paired with the wine and drink of Eastern European royalty.

MENU

Soup - Hot Golden Beet Borscht - We taken the classic Ukrainian recipe for Borscht and given it a twist using golden beets, chicken broth and chicken meat.

Appetizer - Perogies - Classic Polish preparation using Farmers Cheese and mashed potatoes sautéed in butter with caramelized onion.

Entrée Plate -  Golabki stuffed cabbage roll, Georgian Pork shish kabob of marinated pork, Grilled Kielbasa, Beef Stroganoff
and Chicken Paprika

Dessert - Kutia Ukrainian grain pudding, or Dobostorte 7 layer cake with chocolate butter cream and caramel fans.
